Summary

The Melbourne Junior Technical School was renamed the West Melbourne Technical School in 1920 (SER-03971, 23 February 1920 and 23 March 1920, RMIT University Archives; Herald, 27 March 1920, p. 8). On 1 January 1933, the West Melbourne Technical School amalgamated with the Working Men's College, and the junior school of the Working Men's College was transferred to West Melbourne (Eltham, 1934, p. 20; Prelector, 17 May 1934, p. 7; The Melbourne Technical College, 1934, p. 103).
