Description

Since 1988, RMIT Openline has existed as RMIT's main publication. Each edition reflects various current (as then) student and staff activities, highlights and achievements across the various RMIT Australian and overseas campuses.

The title, format, issue numbering and frequency of publication varies and there have been 3 different numbering sequences as follows:
Vol 1, April 1988 - Volume 5, Number 7 June 1992;
Volume 1(1) 5 August 1992 - 1(8) 16 December 1992;
Volume 1(1) 17 February 1993 -

Openline was published weekly , then monthly from Volume 4 1996, then bimonthly or irregularly from Volume 11 2003.

4 copies are held of each issue where available. The set is almost complete to Vol 13(2) 2005, but no later issues are held.

1 issue is missing: Volume 5(6) 1997

Loose issues should be consolidated to this series if required.

Journal is indexed 1988 - to end 1991 only.

Renamed RMIT News in 2009 to make it easier to search for in the web site.
