Letter book containing Director's Correspondence, from 1887 - 1888 and, at verso of volume, correspondence concerning The Ormond National Memorial Fund 1889 - c. 1893.

The letter book contains handwritten carbon copies of outward letters by the first Secretary of the College (titled Director from 1891) Frederick Alexander Campbell, who was appointed to the position in January 1887. Pages are numbered and there is an alphabetical index by addressee and page number at front of volume. Pages 1-394 contain outward letters signed by Campbell on a range of matters.

At the back of the volume (Pages 454 - 482 in reverse order) are letters concerning The Ormond National Memorial Fund, some jointly signed by Campbell and David Bennet, Joint Secretaries of the Fund and subsequent Fund Secretaries.
