Summary

Ida Tegetmeier taught Dressmaking, Plain Needlework and Cooking at the Working Men's College (WMC) in the 1890s (listed in the 1891 and 1899 WMC staff of instructors). Trained in London, she was engaged by Lady Loch (wife of the Governor of Victoria) to teach at the Melbourne Institute for the Advancement of Plain Needlework formed in 1889. She returned to England in retirement.
