Summary

Storey Hall was built by the Hibernian-Australasian Catholic Benefit Society in 1887 and was originally called Hibernian Hall. The architects who designed the building were Tappin, Gilbert & Dennehy (RMIT University, undated). The building was purchased by the Royal Melbourne Technical College in 1958 and was renamed Storey Hall in 1959 (Heritage Council Victoria, 2021).
