Professor Amanda Barnard is a physicist and computational scientist. She completed both a Bachelor of Science (Applied Physics) with First Class Honours and a PhD in Physics at RMIT University (RMIT University, undated). As of November 2021, Barnard is a Senior Professor of Computational Science and the Deputy Director of the School of Computing at the ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science. Between 2009 and 2020 Barnard was a Chief Research Scientist in Data61 at CSIRO (ANU College of Engineering & Computer Science, 2021).
