James Tomkins OAM is an Olympic gold medallist rower. He won seven world titles and gold medals at the 1992, 1996 and 2004 Olympic Games. Tomkins is the 'only rower to have won world titles in every sweep oar rowing event' (Redrup, 2020). Tomkins completed a Bachelor of Business in Economics and Finance at RMIT University in 1995 (RMIT University, undated).
