Summary

Lenton Parr completed a Diploma of Sculpture at the Melbourne Technical College from 1951 to 1954 (Australian Galleries, undated). During his career, Parr was the head of the National Gallery of Victoria Art School, as well as founding director of the Victorian College of the Arts (Pascoe, 2000, p. 25 and 176; Australian Galleries, undated). Parr received an Honorary Degree from RMIT in 1992 (RMIT University, undated).
