Stanley Northey Rodda was appointed principal of the Working Men's College in November 1913. He held this position until 1927 and was a member of Council from 1929 until his death (Murray-Smith and Dare, 1987, pp. 136 and 472; Melbourne Technical College Council, 23 January 1939, p. 1953).
